Yatelo eSIM Data Plans for Sierra Leone

Yatelo does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Sierra Leone. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” in their name actually have a 3GB data cap and, once that limit is reached, the speed is reduced to 1000kbps. Their validity periods are short, ranging from 3 to 7 days.

Travelers who need more data can choose Yatelo’s fixed data plans. For example, the 20GB 30 days plan costs $54.02 USD, the 10GB 30 days plan costs $34.20 USD, and the 5GB 30 days plan costs $20.48 USD. These plans offer larger data allowances and may be more cost‑effective for most users.

Yatelo does not offer an eSIM in Sierra Leone that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIM plans are available from the provider.

Travelers who need to make voice calls or send texts can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations may block or restrict access to these apps, so it is advisable to verify that the services you rely on will work in Sierra Leone before purchasing a plan.

Yatelo offers a total of 9 single‑country data plans specifically for Sierra Leone, as well as 10 multi‑country plans that include Sierra Leone among other destinations. The plans span a price range from about $7.04 up to $128.65, with data caps varying from 1 GB to 20 GB and validity periods from 3 to 30 days. Some plans allow tethering and may reduce speed to 1000 bps when usage exceeds the allotted data.
