Roamic eSIM Data Plans for South Sudan

Roamic does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for South Sudan. The plans that list “Unlimited” in the name actually only give 3 GB of high‑speed data before throttling to 1000 kbps. After the 3 GB threshold is reached, the speed is reduced; the data allowance remains capped at that amount within the stated validity period.

If a traveler needs a larger data allocation, Roamic offers fixed data plans that can be more cost‑effective for heavy data use. Examples include the 20 GB plan for 30 days, priced at $150, and the 10 GB plan for 30 days, priced at $79. Both provide a set data amount that must be used within the specified validity.

Roamic does not provide eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability for South Sudan. The only options available are data‑only eSIMs that give travelers an internet connection without any traditional telephony services.

Users can still make voice or messaging calls by using VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations may block or restrict access to these apps, so travelers should verify that the applications they rely on are available in South Sudan before purchasing a Roamic data‑only plan.

Roamic offers 13 single‑country data plans for South Sudan, with no multi‑country options available. The plans range in price from $11.00 to $709.00 and provide data caps between 1 GB and 20 GB. Among these, seven plans feature a daily data cap while six offer a fixed data amount, giving travelers flexibility depending on whether they prefer a set amount of data for the entire validity period or a daily allowance that resets each day.
