AeroSims eSIM Data Plans for Sri Lanka

AeroSims does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Sri Lanka. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” in their name actually give 3 GB of high‑speed data per day; once that amount is used the speed drops to 512 kbps. For travelers who need more data without a daily cap, AeroSims offers fixed data plans such as the Ella 50 GB plan valid for 180 days or the Ella 20 GB plan valid for 30 days. These fixed plans give a set amount of high‑speed data that can be topped up while still active.

AeroSims only offers data‑only eSIM plans for Sri Lanka; there are no plans that provide a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection for calling and messaging, but they should verify that the apps they rely on are accessible in Sri Lanka before purchasing, as some destinations may block or restrict certain VoIP services.

AeroSims provides 12 single‑country plans that cover Sri Lanka and 19 multi‑country plans that include Sri Lanka. The plans are priced between about $6.48 and $154.29 and offer data caps ranging from 3 GB to 50 GB. Some plans are daily‑cap, where the data allowance resets each day, while others are fixed‑cap and provide a set amount of data that is valid for the whole validity period.
