BNESIM does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed data eSIM for Sri Lanka. The plan marketed as “Sri Lanka Unlimited 10 days” actually offers 3GB of high‑speed data per day; after that limit is reached the speed drops to 1000 kbps. Other BNESIM plans deliver fixed data amounts, such as 100 GB for 30 days or 50 GB for 30 days, which are valid for the stated period or for unlimited validity. These fixed‑data options can be more cost‑effective for most travelers unless a user needs an exceptionally heavy data volume.

BNESIM does not provide eSIMs with a phone number or SMS capability for Sri Lanka. Only data‑only eSIM plans are available from this provider. Travelers who need voice or text services can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage, which work over the data connection.
