Hungry eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Sri Lanka

Hungry eSIM does not offer any true unlimited data eSIM for Sri Lanka. The plans that carry “Unlimited” in the name all have a fixed daily data cap—such as 0.5 GB, 1 GB, 2 GB, or 10 GB per day—after which the speed is throttled to 512 kbps, 1 Mbps, or 384 kbps.

Travelers who need more data can choose a fixed‐data plan, which can be more cost effective if they do not consume very large amounts of data. For example, a 30‑day plan with a 20 GB allowance costs $31.14 USD, and a 180‑day plan with a 50 GB allowance costs $98.00 USD. These plans provide a hard limit but may better suit most users’ needs.

Hungry eSIM does not provide Sri Lanka eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. The available plans from this provider are strictly data‑only. Travelers who need voice or text services can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, although some destinations may block or restrict certain apps. It is advisable to confirm that the specific services you rely on are accessible in Sri Lanka before purchasing a plan.

Hungry eSIM offers 11 single‑country plans and 39 multi‑country plans that include Sri Lanka. The available offerings span from $2.19 to $179.36, with data caps ranging between 500 MB and 50 GB and validity periods from one day up to one year. The single‑country plans typically provide a fixed data amount, while the multi‑country plans may combine data with daily use caps for travelers who need coverage in several countries.
