Roamic eSIM Data Plans for Tanzania

Roamic does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Tanzania. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” in their name actually give 3GB of high‑speed data per day and then throttle the connection to 1000 kbps once that amount is reached, so the data is not unlimited.

Travelers who need a larger, fixed amount of data can choose from Roamic’s fixed data plans for Tanzania, such as the 20GB/30 days plan, the 10GB/30 days plan, the 5GB/21 days plan, or the 3GB/14 days plan. These plans offer a set data allowance that must be used within the specified validity period and can be more cost‑effective for most users.

Roamic does not provide eSIM plans that include a local phone number or SMS capability for Tanzania. Travelers can only purchase data‑only eSIMs from Roamic. However, they can still use voice and messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. Some destinations may block or restrict certain VoIP services, so it is advisable to confirm that the specific apps a traveler needs are accessible in Tanzania before purchasing a plan.

Roamic offers 13 single‑country plans and 3 multi‑country plans for Tanzania. The available plans span a price range from about $5 to $200 and provide data caps between 1 GB and 20 GB, with validity periods from 1 to 30 days. Some plans feature a fixed data amount, while others impose a daily data cap, giving customers flexibility depending on their usage patterns.
