SIMzip eSIM Data Plans for Tanzania

Simzip does not offer an unlimited data eSIM for Tanzania. Instead, the provider sells fixed‑data plans with finite allowances. For example, a 20GB plan is available for 30 days at $211.20 USD, and a 10GB plan is offered for 15 days at $112.00 USD; smaller options such as 5GB for 10 days ($70.40 USD) and 3GB for 5 days ($48.00 USD) are also available. These plans give users a defined amount of data that may be more economical for most travelers, unless a user requires an extremely high data volume.

SIMzip does not provide Tanzania eSIM plans that include a local phone number or SMS capability. The provider offers only data‑only eSIMs for Tanzania, so travelers will not receive a local contact number or the ability to send or receive SMS messages through the eSIM.

Because the eSIM lacks a native phone number, travelers can still use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection for voice calls and text messaging.
