Bad point: Unlimited package throttled after 1GB in UAE - not what I purchased. This is wrong advertisement.
Donโt use if you need a good data package.
Good point: Support is responsive.
The webpage is very unclear and leads you to buy a card you will never be able to use. If you want to buy eSim you need to top up your account without knowing the final eSim price.
How To Buy
Buy an eSIM starter pack from the web
MTX Connect eSIM starter pack is 5 Euro and you get 7 Euro credit. You can use that credit to purchase a data plan. Once the purchase is complete, you will get a QR code.
Set up your cellular plan and APN
Scan the QR code to add a cellular plan, assign the MTX Connect eSIM to Cellular Data and turn Roaming on. Then input "internet" for each APN sections. Once MTX Connect eSIM is activated, the Free Chat Package is automatically enabled.
Purchase data plan on mobile app
Download MTX Connect mobile app, and access it with MTX Connect eSIM cellular data network. You will be automatically logged in and you can buy a data plan on their app. If needed, you can recharge your credit.
