Astaroam eSIM Data Plans for Uganda

Astaroam does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM plan for Uganda. The options that are branded “Unlimited – 3 days” and “Unlimited – 5 days” actually give 3 GB per day and, once that daily threshold is reached, the speed is reduced to 1000 kbps.

If a constant high‑speed connection is needed, Astaroam offers fixed data plans such as 10 GB for 30 days, 5 GB for 30 days, or 3 GB for 30 days. These plans supply a set amount of high‑speed data and can be more cost‑effective for most travelers, except for those who anticipate using an extremely large amount of data.

Astaroam does not provide Uganda eSIM plans that include a local phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only plans are offered for destinations in Uganda. Travelers who need voice or text service can still use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but availability of these services can vary, so it is wise to confirm that the apps you rely on work in Uganda before purchasing.

Astaroam provides a total of 4 single‑country plans and 13 multi‑country plans for Uganda.
