Kolet eSIM Data Plans for Uganda

Kolet does not currently provide an unlimited data eSIM plan for Uganda. Travelers who need data in Uganda can instead choose from Kolet’s fixed‑data options. Examples of available plans include a 20GB plan that is valid for 365 days and costs $84.99 USD, as well as a 20GB plan that is valid for 30 days and costs $92.99 USD; both of these are offered on 5G networks. If a user is not an extremely heavy data consumer, selecting a fixed‑data plan can often be more cost effective than seeking an unlimited option.

Kolet does not provide an eSIM for Uganda that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The only eSIM plans offered for Uganda are data‑only plans. Travelers can still receive voice and text communications by using apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, which do not require a local phone number or SMS service.

Kolet offers a total of five single‑country data plans and ten multi‑country data plans that can be used in Uganda. The plans’ prices range from $6.99 to $111.99, while the data caps vary between 1 GB and 20 GB.
