MobineX does not provide a true unlimited high‑speed eSIM plan for Uganda. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” actually include data caps of 1GB for Unlimited Standard and 5GB for Unlimited Gold. Once the allocated data is used, the speed drops to 128kbps for Unlimited Standard and 1024kbps for Unlimited Gold, so the connection is no longer unlimited.

If a larger data allowance is needed, mobineX offers fixed‑data options such as 100GB for 60 days, 50GB for 30 days, and 30GB for 30 days. These plans provide a predictable amount of high‑speed data without throttle limits, and may be more cost‑effective for travelers who expect to use several gigabytes of data in Uganda.

mobineX does not offer an Uganda eSIM that includes an active phone number or SMS capabilities. The only eSIM options available for travelers in Uganda from mobineX are data‑only plans. Travelers who need voice or text communication can use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, which provide calling and messaging services without the need for a local phone number or SMS.

MobineX offers six single‑country data plans that cover Uganda and an additional thirty‑five multi‑country plans that include Uganda as part of a broader regional package.
