Roamic eSIM Data Plans for Uganda

Roamic does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Uganda. The plans that include “Unlimited” in their names actually provide a fixed allowance of 3GB per day; once that limit is reached the speed drops to 1000 kbps.

Travelers who need more data can choose from Roamic’s fixed data plans, such as the 20GB plan valid for 30 days or the 10GB plan also valid for 30 days, both of which offer high‑speed data without the speed restriction that applies to the “Unlimited” plans.

Roamic does not provide an eSIM for Uganda that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can only obtain a data‑only eSIM from the provider. However, most messaging and calling apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage can be used over the data connection for communication. Because some destinations may block or limit access to certain VoIP services, travelers should check that the apps they rely on are available in Uganda before purchasing.

Roamic provides 13 single‑country data plans that cover Uganda alone and 3 multi‑country plans that include Uganda in their coverage.
The plans range in price from about $5 to $254 and offer between 1 GB and 20 GB of data, with validity periods spanning from 1 to 30 days.
Some plans have a fixed data amount—available in 9 different options—while others cap data on a daily basis, offering 7 distinct daily‑cap packages.
