Roamic eSIM Data Plans for Uganda

Roamic does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed data eSIM for Uganda.
The plans that include “Unlimited” in their marketing names actually supply a fixed amount of high‑speed data – 3 GB per day for each validity period – after which the speed is reduced to 1000 kbps. For users who need more data or who want a plan that keeps normal speeds throughout, Roamic offers fixed data bundles such as a 20 GB plan valid for 30 days or a 10 GB plan also valid for 30 days. These alternatives allow the full data allowance at normal speeds within the set validity window and may be more cost‑effective for travelers who use large amounts of data.

Roamic does not provide an eSIM for Uganda that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can only obtain a data‑only eSIM from the provider. However, most messaging and calling apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage can be used over the data connection for communication. Because some destinations may block or limit access to certain VoIP services, travelers should check that the apps they rely on are available in Uganda before purchasing.
