Wiiline eSIM Data Plans for Uganda

Wiiline does not currently provide a genuinely unlimited data eSIM plan for Uganda. The plans marketed as “Unlimited” all include a 1GB daily data cap; after this limit is reached the speed is reduced to 512 kbps.

For travelers who need more data without the speed reduction, Wiiline offers fixed‑data plans such as the 30GB plan valid for 30 days or the 20GB plan also 30 days. These plans give higher throughput until the allocated data is used, after which the plan expires. These offers may be more cost‑effective for heavy data users who do not require an unlimited cap.

Wiiline does not provide Uganda eSIM plans that include a local phone number or SMS capability. All available Uganda eSIMs from Wiiline are data‑only, with no inbound or outbound voice or text messaging included.

Users can still make voice calls and send messages using VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection provided by the eSIM, but no traditional phone number or SMS service is offered.

Wiiline provides 19 single‑country data plans that include Uganda and 4 multi‑country plans that cover the country as part of a broader range of destinations. The available offerings are priced between $5.03 and $150.00 and provide data caps from 490 MB up to 80 GB, depending on the chosen plan. The fixed‑data‑cap options give users a set amount of data for the entire validity period, while the daily‑data‑cap plans restrict the amount of data that can be used each day, which may be useful for travelers who want to keep usage predictable.
