Lotso Travel eSIM Data Plans for United States Virgin Islands

Lotso Travel does not provide a true unlimited‑data eSIM for the United States Virgin Islands. All plans listed by the provider contain a hard data cap that must be used within a specified validity period; after that limit is reached, the connection speed is throttled to a reduced speed such as 384 kbps or 5.1 Mbps.

Travelers looking for large data allowances can instead choose from Lotso Travel’s fixed data plans, such as the 50GB eSIM that is valid for 5 to 30 days or the 30GB eSIM available for 5 days. These plans offer a generous fixed amount of high‑speed data and are often more cost‑effective for most users than the “Unlimited” plans that are just high‑volume bundles with speed throttling after the initial data cap.

Lotso Travel does not offer an eSIM for the United States Virgin Islands that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can only purchase a data‑only plan for that destination. They can, however, use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection to make voice calls and send messages. Some destinations may block or limit access to certain VoIP services, so it is advisable to check that the apps you need are available in the United States Virgin Islands before deciding to buy the data‑only plan.

Lotso Travel offers 64 single‑country data plans and 20 multi‑country data plans that cover the United States Virgin Islands. The single coverage options are based on a fixed data cap, while the multi coverage plans impose a daily data cap. Prices range approximately from $6.95 to $160.95, and data limits vary from 500 MB up to 50 GB. Both types of plans include options allowing tethering and reduced speed provisions.
