“They did not deliver the eSIM in time, I asked many time for refund and they never refund. The support is awful, always asking for waiting. They claim to deliver eSIM within 2 hours and I waited all day and left Canada without the service. Had to select an other eSIM supplier.

Keep away from them.”

Martinique Travel eSIM FAQ

Everything you need to know about using eSIMs in Martinique

How many travel eSIM brands (providers) are available for use in Martinique, and how many prepaid data plans are there?

There are more than 180 travel eSIM brands and more than 5 700 prepaid data plans available for use in Martinique. The wide variety of options makes it easy for travelers to find an eSIM that suits their needs.

Are there any unlimited data eSIM plans available for Martinique?

Unlimited data eSIM plans for Martinique are currently offered by several providers. Earth Esim, Roamify, esimzon, and Yesim all provide unlimited data options with validity periods of between one and thirty days. The plans typically include tethering and are available on 5G networks, but users may experience speed throttling. Earth Esim limits speed to 1 Mbps once throttling occurs, while esimzon caps maximum speed at 10 Mbps; the other providers may throttle speeds without a specified limit. Price ranges for the unlimited plans span from about $1.49 to $142.72 USD, with most plans falling between roughly $4.50 and $63 USD. This gives travelers a range of choices depending on budget and data‑usage tolerance.

What are the major mobile networks available for a travel eSIM in Martinique?

In Martinique, the primary Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) providing mobile services are:

Orange Caraïbe: Operates as part of the Orange S.A. group, offering extensive coverage and a range of mobile services.
Digicel: A major telecommunications provider in the Caribbean, delivering various mobile services across the region.
SFR Caraïbe: Part of the SFR group, providing mobile services in Martinique and other French overseas territories.
Only: Operated by Outremer Telecom, offering mobile services in Martinique and neighboring regions.

Additionally, Martinique has Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) like La Poste Caraïbe Mobile, which lease access from major carriers to offer mobile services. It's important to note that most travel eSIMs rely on the infrastructure of MNOs rather than MVNOs.

Can I get a travel eSIM with a phone number and SMS for Martinique?

Yes, travel eSIMs that include a phone number and SMS are available for Martinique. The only plan that provides a local Martinique number (dialing code +596) is RedEx eSIM, which offers 20 GB of data for 30 days at $35.89 and supports inbound and outbound voice and SMS. Other providers such as JamboSim, ESIM.DOG, AirPlans, Roamify, SimOptions, and several others also offer travel eSIMs with phone numbers and SMS, but their numbers use foreign dialing codes such as +1 (United States), +33 (France), or +44 (United Kingdom), so they are not local Martinique numbers. These plans still allow inbound and outbound calls and SMS, but the number will appear as foreign.

If a local Martinique number is essential, RedEx eSIM is the sole provider in the dataset. If a foreign number is acceptable, many providers offer competitive options ranging from about $11.99 for 1 GB 7‑day plans to $95.00 for 10 GB 180‑day plans, with varying data caps and validity periods. Travelers should confirm that the chosen provider’s network covers Martinique and that VoIP services are accessible before purchasing.
