MyTravel eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Zambia

No, MyTravel eSIM does not provide an unlimited data eSIM for Zambia. The provider’s plans for Zambia have a fixed data cap, with the largest option giving 10GB of data every 30 days. One common choice is a 10GB 30‑day plan, which covers Zambia at a price of $72.82 USD, while a comparable plan that also serves 20 additional African countries offers the same 10GB data for 30 days at $67.95 USD. Because these plans are fixed data plans, travelers cannot exceed the 10GB allowance during the validity period; additional data cannot be used beyond that cap. Therefore, if a user expects to use more data than the fixed limits allow, they would need to purchase a new plan or choose a different provider that offers truly unlimited data for Zambia.

MyTravel eSIM does not offer a Zambia eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability, so travelers seeking a plan with voice or text services will not find one from this provider. The only available option is a data‑only eSIM that provides high‑speed internet access for the duration of the plan.

Travelers who need to make calls or send messages can use popular VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but those services may be restricted or blocked in some regions. It is advisable to verify that the apps they rely on are accessible in Zambia before purchasing a data‑only plan.

MyTravel eSIM offers 12 single‑country plans for Zambia and 24 multi‑country plans that include Zambia among the covered destinations. Prices for these plans span from $7.37 to $77.37, while the data caps range from 1 GB to 10 GB. Some packages allow tethering and provide options with reduced speeds of 512 kbps, 1000 kbps, or 384 kbps.
