AirPlans eSIM Data Plans for Aruba

AirPlans does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Aruba. The plans that carry “Unlimited” in their name actually give 1 GB per day and, once that daily quota is reached, the speed is throttled to 512 kbps. Therefore, the data is not unlimited in the sense of an unrestricted high‑speed allowance.

If you need a larger, fixed data allowance, AirPlans offers several fixed data plans for Aruba. For example, the Aruba 20 GB 30 days plan gives 20 GB of high‑speed data for 30 days, while the Aruba 10 GB 30 days and Aruba 5 GB 30 days plans provide 10 GB and 5 GB respectively for the same period. These fixed data plans can be more cost‑effective for travelers who want a predictable amount of data without the speed reduction that follows the daily limit on the “Unlimited” plans.

AirPlans does not provide an eSIM plan for Aruba that includes a phone number, inbound or outbound voice, or SMS. Travelers can only purchase data‑only options, and if they need to make calls or send messages they can rely on VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, because some destinations limit access to those services, users should confirm that the apps required for their communication needs are available in Aruba before purchasing an AirPlans eSIM.

AirPlans offers 14 single‑country data plans and 18 multi‑country data plans in Aruba, giving travelers 32 distinct options. Prices range from $8.53 to $349.66, while data caps span 1 GB to 20 GB across validity periods of 1 to 30 days. The catalog includes both fixed data caps, providing a set amount of data for the entire validity period, and daily data‑cap plans, which limit usage on a day‑to‑day basis. Some plans support tethering and include reduced speeds of 512, 1000, or 1280 when applicable.
