Globie eSIM Data Plans for Barbados

Globie does not provide a true unlimited high‑speed data plan for Barbados. The plans labeled “Barbados Unlimited” give a fixed 3 GB per day of high‑speed data, after which the speed is reduced to 1000 kbps. For travelers needing more data without that speed throttling, Globie offers fixed data plans such as the 20 GB plan for 30 days, which costs $112.99 USD, and the 10 GB plan for 30 days, which costs $61.49 USD. These fixed‑data options can be more cost‑effective for users who want a larger unthrottled data allowance.

Globie does not offer an eSIM for Barbados that includes a local phone number or inbound or outbound SMS functionality. Only data‑only eSIM plans are available for travelers heading to Barbados.

Travelers who need voice or messaging can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations may block or restrict access to particular apps, so it is advisable to confirm that the services you rely on are accessible in Barbados before making a purchase.

Globie provides a range of options for travelers to Barbadian destinations. Across its catalog, the provider lists 11 plans that cover Barbados alone, giving users a choice of data loads from 1 GB to 20 GB with prices that span roughly $9.99 to $1, 018.99. For those who may visit multiple countries, Globie also offers 4 multi‑country packages that include Barbados; these bundles maintain the same price and data range but bundle coverage across several destinations, making them ideal for itineraries that cross borders.

Among the single‑country plans, nine are priced as fixed data caps, where the entire data allowance is available for the duration of the plan’s validity (5 – 30 days). The remaining six are daily‑cap plans, which reset their data quota each day, providing flexibility for users who expect fluctuating data usage throughout their trip. Both plan types generally allow tethering, though many include a reduced speed cap of 512 kbps after the main data allocation has been used.
