Airalo eSIM Data Plans for Bulgaria

Airalo does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed data eSIM for Bulgaria. The plans that carry “Unlimited” in their name give a maximum of 3GB of high‑speed data per day; once that limit is reached the speed drops to 1000kbps.

If an unrestricted data allowance is required, Airalo offers fixed‑data plans that cover longer periods. For example, the Eurolink – 100 GB plan is valid for 180 days and the Bultel – 50 GB plan for 30 days, while EUconnect offers a 50 GB plan for 30 days. These high‑capacity options can be more efficient for heavy users compared to the capped “Unlimited” plans.

Airalo does not offer a Bulgaria eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. At present only data‑only plans are available through the provider for Bulgaria. Travelers who need to make calls or send messages can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection provided by the eSIM.
