ETravelSim does not provide a genuine unlimited‑data eSIM for China. All products labeled “Unlimited” actually offer a daily data allowance—1 GB per day or 4 GB per day—after which the connection is throttled to a very low speed (256 kbps or 128 kbps respectively). Travelers who need unrestricted high‑speed data should select one of ETravelSim’s fixed‑data plans, such as the 50 GB plan for 30 days priced at $39.99 USD or the 20 GB plan for 30 days priced at $22.99 USD. These fixed‑data options provide a set amount of high‑speed data without the speed reduction that applies to the so‑called “Unlimited” plans, and may be more cost‑effective for users who consume a significant amount of data during their trip.

ETravelSim does not provide an eSIM for China that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. The provider offers only data‑only plans in that country. Travelers can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection for voice calls and messaging.
