ETravelSim does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for China.
The plans that carry “Unlimited” in their name actually offer fixed daily data limits—4GB per day for the 7‑, 15‑, and 30‑day China eSIM Unlimited plans, and 1GB per day for the China, Hong Kong & Macau Unlimited plans—and once those limits are reached, the speed is reduced to 128kbps or 256kbps.

For travelers who need larger data allowances, ETravelSim offers fixed‑data alternatives. Examples include a 50GB plan for 30 days priced at $39.99 USD and a 20GB plan for 30 days priced at $22.99 USD, among other options. These plans can be more cost‑effective if a user’s data consumption exceeds the daily limits of the “Unlimited” plans.

ETravelSim does not offer a China eSIM plan that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The provider only offers data‑only eSIMs for travelers visiting China.

Travelers can still make voice and text communications by using popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage, which operate over the data connection provided by the eSIM.
