Nomad does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed data eSIM for China. All plans listed for China, including those that use “Unlimited” in their names, contain a fixed data cap— for example, the Local China plans allot 2GB per day, while the Regional APAC plans offer 37.5GB or 75GB over 5 or 10 days, respectively. After the cap is reached, Speed reduces to a throttled level specified in the plan details.

Travelers who expect high‑volume data use may consider Nomad’s fixed‑data options instead. A 90‑day plan delivers 90GB of high‑speed data, a 45‑day plan offers 50GB, and a 10‑day Regional APAC plan provides 75GB. These plans can be more cost‑effective for heavy users compared to purchasing an “Unlimited” plan that still imposes a daily or total data limit.

Nomad does not provide China eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. All of Nomad’s China offerings are data‑only, meaning they grant high‑speed internet access without support for traditional voice calls or text messages.

Travelers can still communicate by using VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage, which work over the data connection provided by the eSIM.

Nomad offers 12 single‑country data plans that cover China and 31 multi‑country plans that include China. The single‑country plans range in price from about $4 to $170 and provide data caps between 1 GB and 90 GB for validity periods from 3 to 365 days. The multi‑country plans are priced similarly and also span the same data and validity ranges.
