nextSIM eSIM Data Plans for Cyprus

No, nextSIM does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed data plan for Cyprus. All plans listed under the “Unlimited” name give a fixed amount of high‑speed data and then reduce the speed to 512kbps (or 2000kbps for some Plus variants). For example, the eSIM Cyprus Unlimited 5Days Standard plan offers 1GB per day for 5 days, after which the speed drops to 512kbps. Similarly, the eSIM Cyprus Unlimited Plus 10Days Standard plan gives 2GB per day for 10 days before the speed is throttled. Travelers who want more data without speed reduction might choose a larger fixed‑data plan such as the eSIM Cyprus 100GB 30Days Standard, which provides 100GB of high‑speed data for 30 days.

nextSIM does not offer a Cyprus eSIM plan that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can only purchase data‑only plans for Cyprus, and they will not receive inbound or outbound voice or text services. However, they can still make voice or text calls using popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. Because some destinations may block or restrict access to certain VoIP services, travelers should check that the apps they rely on are available in Cyprus before purchasing a nextSIM data‑only eSIM.

NextSIM offers a total of 163 single‑country data plans and 145 multi‑country data plans that include Cyprus.
