AirPlans eSIM Data Plans for Faroe Islands

AirPlans does not sell a truly unlimited data eSIM for Faroe Islands. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” in their name actually provide 1GB of high‑speed data each day, after which the speed is throttled to 512 kbps. If a traveler requires a larger data allowance, AirPlans offers fixed data plans, such as the 30GB 30‑days or the 20GB 30‑days options, which provide ample high‑speed data and can be more cost‑effective unless the user is an extremely heavy data consumer.

AirPlans does not provide a Faroe Islands eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIM plans are available for that destination. Travelers who need voice or messaging can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but these services may be blocked or restricted in the Faroe Islands, so it is advisable to confirm their availability before purchasing a plan.

AirPlans offers 20 single‑country data plans for Faroe Islands, with no multi‑country options available for this destination. The plans cover a price range of $1.67 to $65.49 and data caps from 500 MB up to 30 GB, depending on the plan chosen. Within these plans, some provide a daily data cap, limiting the amount of data usable each day, while others offer a fixed data amount that is available for the entire validity period of the plan.
