Gjirafa eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Faroe Islands

Gjirafa eSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data plan for the Faroe Islands. All of its active plans list a specific data cap – the “Europe Unlimited” and “Global Unlimited” names refer to a rate of 3GB per day, after which the speed is reduced. No plan in the provider’s catalogue has a data cap of “unlimited.”

If a traveler needs a larger, fixed data allowance for the Faroe Islands, Gjirafa eSIM offers several high‑volume options. For example, the Europe 100GB 365 days plan provides 100GB of high‑speed data for 365 days, while the Europe 50GB 30 days and Europe 50GB 90 days plans give 50GB for 30 or 90 days respectively. These fixed data plans can be a more cost‑effective choice for most users who do not require continuous, limitless data.

Gjirafa eSIM does not provide a Faroe Islands eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIM plans are offered for the Faroe Islands. Travelers who need voice or text can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should verify that these services are accessible in the Faroe Islands before purchasing a plan.

Gjirafa eSIM provides seven single‑country plans and 26 multi‑country plans that include coverage in the Faroe Islands. The available plans span a price range from $3.53 to $471.66 and data caps from 1 GB to 100 GB. The catalogue offers both fixed‑data‑cap options, which give a predetermined amount of data for the plan’s validity, and daily‑cap options, which allocate a set amount of data each day during the subscription period.
