Lumbus eSIM Data Plans for Faroe Islands

Lumbus does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed eSIM for Faroe Islands. All of its “Unlimited” plans give 3GB of regular speed data per day; after that limit is reached the connection is throttled to 1000 kbps. Therefore the data allowance is capped, not unlimited.

If you need more data, Lumbus offers fixed data plans such as 20GB for 30 days ($32.99 USD), 10GB for 30 days ($15.99 USD), and 5GB for 30 days ($8.99 USD). A fixed plan can be more cost‑effective unless you are an extremely heavy data user, in which case the daily allowance of the “Unlimited” plans may be suitable.

Lumbus does not provide any Faroe Islands eSIM plan that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Customers can only purchase data‑only eSIMs for this destination. For voice and messaging, travelers may use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection, but they should confirm that these apps are accessible in the Faroe Islands before buying a plan.

Lumbus offers eleven single‑country data plans for the Faroe Islands, with no multi‑country options available. The plans range from about $2.99 to $90.99, and the data caps span from 1 GB up to 20 GB. Some plans are fixed‑data, providing a set amount of data for the entire validity period, while others are daily‑cap plans, limiting the amount of data that can be used each day. This variety lets travelers choose a plan that matches both their budget and data‑usage needs.
