MoodSIM eSIM Data Plans for Faroe Islands

MoodSIM does not supply a truly unlimited high‑speed eSIM plan for the Faroe Islands. Plans that include “Unlimited” in their name actually provide a fixed daily data allowance; once that limit is reached, the connection speed is reduced to either 512 kbps or 1 Mbps. For example, the Faroe Islands Unlimited (5 GB/day, then 512 kbps) 1 Day plan delivers 5 GB of high‑speed data each day before throttling to 512 kbps.

Travelers who need more data can choose from MoodSIM’s fixed data plans that last for 30 days, such as the 20 GB for 30 days plan, the 10 GB for 30 days plan, and the 5 GB for 30 days plan. These plans provide 5G coverage in the Faroe Islands and do not involve speed reductions after a data threshold.

MoodSIM does not provide any Faroe Islands eSIM plans that include a local phone number or SMS capability. The only plans sold by this provider for the Faroe Islands are data‑only eSIMs. Travelers who need voice or text services can use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection, but they should verify that these services are accessible in the Faroe Islands before purchasing, as some destinations may block or restrict certain apps.

MoodSIM’s Faroe Islands catalogue features 14 single‑country data plans and does not offer any multi‑country options for this destination. The plans come in a range of data caps from 500 MB to 20 GB, allowing users to choose a quantity that matches their usage needs. Prices vary accordingly, from about $2.49 up to $41.99, providing options for light to high‑volume travelers. Each plan offers a fixed data amount that is usable over its validity period, without the need to monitor a daily data cap.
