nextSIM eSIM Data Plans for Faroe Islands

nextSIM does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed data eSIM for the Faroe Islands. All of the plans that carry “Unlimited” in their name offer a capped amount of data—typically 1 GB per day that, after being used, is throttled to 512 kbps, or 2 GB per day with a reduced speed of 2000 kbps. Because the planned data is limited and speed is reduced once the cap is reached, these are not unlimited plans.

Travelers who need higher data volumes might consider nextSIM’s fixed data plans instead. For example, a 50 GB plan that is valid for 30 days costs about $60.77, while a 100 GB plan valid for 30 days costs about $298.24. These fixed data plans give a larger high‑speed allowance that is not throttled. Choosing a fixed data plan can be more cost effective unless the traveler is an extremely heavy data user.

NextSIM does not provide Faroe Islands eSIM plans with a phone number or SMS capability; only data‑only eSIM plans are available from this provider. Travelers can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection for calls and messaging, but they should confirm that these apps are accessible in Faroe Islands before purchasing a plan.

nextSIM offers a total of 59 single‑country plans and 61 multi‑country plans across its portfolio. For the Faroe Islands, the provider supplies only single‑country plans. These plans vary widely in price, ranging from about $3.12 to $1, 279.70, and in data allowance, from 1 GB up to 100 GB. The validity period for these plans can be as short as one day or extend up to a full year, giving travelers flexibility depending on the length of their stay.
