RedSim eSIM Data Plans for Faroe Islands

RedSim does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for the Faroe Islands. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” in their name give high‑speed data up to 3 GB per day; once that daily limit is reached the speed drops to 1 Mbps for the remainder of the day.

Travelers who need a larger, fixed amount of data can choose from RedSim’s fixed data plans for the Faroe Islands, such as the 20 GB 30 days plan, the 10 GB 30 days plan, or the 5 GB 30 days plan. These plans offer a set data allowance that must be used within 30 days and can be more cost‑effective for most users.

RedSim does not offer an eSIM plan that includes a phone number or SMS capability for travel to the Faroe Islands. The available plans from this provider are data‑only, providing internet access but no local calling or texting services. Travelers who need voice or messaging can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection, though they should verify that these services are not blocked or restricted in the Faroe Islands before purchasing a plan.

RedSim provides 25 single‑country data plans and 5 multi‑country plans that include the Faroe Islands. The plans cover a price range from about $2.72 to $142.20 and offer data caps between 1 GB and 20 GB. Some plans are fixed‑data packages, while others use a daily data cap, giving customers flexibility depending on how they intend to use the data.
