At first ESIM wouldn't install. it was my WiFi which blocked its activation, so I used another WiFi and managed to add the ESIM. then it had no internet access and support helped me:
We recommend configuring our APN by doing the following:
1. Tap Settings
2. Tap Connections
3. Tap Mobile Networks
4. Tap Access Point Names
5. Tap the Menu button
6. Tap New APN.
7. Tap the Name field, write Globalesim
8. Tap the APN field, write internet
9. Leave all other fields empty / blank
10. Tap the Menu icon (3 dots)
11. Tap Save
After, please restart your phone giving it several minutes in order to allow it to properly reconnect to a network.
Worked great in France. I had great coverage in Paris and Lille. It was solid enough for FaceTime audio calls (I didn't try video). Also was great for a bit of tethering. Poor service in the countryside on the train, but my understanding is all providers have issues with that in France.
