Jetpac eSIM Data Plans for Hungary

Jetpac does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for Hungary. All plans that carry the “Unlimited” label have a hard cap of 3GB per day; after that the speed is reduced to 1000 kbps.

Travelers can choose a fixed‑data plan instead, such as the Hungary Unlimited‑3 Days or Hungary Unlimited‑10 Days, which offer 3GB/day for 3 or 10 days respectively and include the same reduced speed once the daily limit is reached. These fixed data plans are generally more cost‑effective for most users.

Jetpac does not provide an eSIM plan for Hungary that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. The provider offers only data‑only eSIMs in that country. Travelers who need voice or text services can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should confirm that these apps are accessible in Hungary before purchasing, as some destinations may restrict or block certain services.

Jetpac lists 15 plans that cover Hungary alone and 42 plans that include Hungary as part of a multi‑country package. Prices span from about 6 USD to 249 USD, while data caps range from 1 GB up to 50 GB. The validity period for these plans covers 1 to 365 days. Planners can choose between fixed‑data‑cap options, which lock in a set amount of data for the duration, and daily‑data‑cap plans, where the provider allocates a specific amount of data each day. Many of Jetpac’s offerings permit tethering; some capped tiers reduce speed to 1000 kbps, and a few plans are only available to new users.
