MoodSIM does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed eSIM plan for Hungary. All plans that carry the label “Unlimited” include a specified data cap—such as 10GB per day, 2GB per day, or 1GB per day—and a reduced speed tier that is applied once the cap is reached (for example 384kbps or 1Mbps). Because the speed drops after the data limit, the service does not offer unlimited data at full speed.

Travelers who need larger continuous data allowances can choose one of MoodSIM’s fixed‑data plans, such as the 20GB plan valid for 30 days or the 50GB plan valid for 180 days. These plans avoid the speed throttling that occurs on the capped “Unlimited” plans.

MoodSIM does not offer a Hungary eSIM with a phone number or SMS capability at this time. Only data‑only eSIM plans are available, so you can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection for calls and messaging.
