For travelers who need a large amount of data, MTX Connect offers fixed data plans such as the 10GB LOCAL plan, which gives 10GB of data for 30 days and covers Hungary plus 44 additional countries, or the Hungary 10GB Unthrottled plan, which also provides 10GB for 30 days with 5G speeds available within Hungary. These fixed data plans are generally more cost effective for most users, unless a traveler expects to exceed the 10GB limit regularly.

Travelers who need voice or text services can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should verify that these services are accessible in Hungary before purchasing an eSIM.
