Roamic eSIM Data Plans for Hungary

Roamic does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Hungary. The plans labeled “Unlimited” actually give 3 GB of high‑speed data and then throttle the connection to a reduced speed of 1000 kbps once that allowance is used. Travelers who need more data can choose from fixed‑data packages, such as the Hungary eSIM 10 GB for 30 days ( $6.00 USD ), 20 GB for 30 days ( $11.00 USD ), or 50 GB for 30 days ( $19.00 USD ). These options offer larger data volumes at a set price, which can be more cost‑effective for moderate to heavy data users.

Roamic does not provide a Hungary eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only plans are sold for travel in Hungary. Travelers who need to make calls or send text messages can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection, but it is advisable to verify that the apps are accessible in Hungary before purchasing, as some destinations may block specific VoIP services.

Roamic offers 13 single‑country plans for Hungary and 14 multi‑country plans that include Hungary. The single‑country plans provide a set amount of data, while the multi‑country plans may use either a fixed data amount or a daily data cap; fixed plans give a specific volume of data. Prices on the catalogue range from about $1.00 up to $42.00, and data caps vary between 1 GB and 50 GB.
