BNESIM eSIM Data Plans for Indonesia

BNESIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Indonesia. All of the BNESIM plans listed for Indonesia have a fixed data cap, such as 3GB per day for the Indonesia Unlimited 10‑day plan, 20GB, 50GB, or 100GB for up to 30 days or unlimited time. Even the plan that includes “Unlimited” in its name offers only 3GB of high‑speed data per day, after which the speed is throttled to 1000kbps.

If unlimited data is required, travelers must look outside BNESIM. As alternatives, BNESIM offers fixed data plans with generous allowances: a 100GB plan for 30 days, a 50GB plan for 30 days, or a 20GB plan for 30 days. These plans can be more cost‑effective for heavy users, though the data is still capped.

BNESIM does not provide an Indonesia eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. All of BNESIM’s Indonesia offerings are data‑only plans without telephony support. Travelers wishing to phone or receive texts can use over‑the‑top services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage; these apps operate over the data connection but do not rely on a local Indonesian phone number or SMS service.

BNESIM offers 15 single‑country plans and 30 multi‑country plans that include Indonesia. Prices for these plans range from about $2.87 to $257.88, and data caps span from 1 GB up to 100 GB. Validity periods vary from no expiry to 30 days. Most plans feature a fixed data amount; only one plan uses a daily data cap, which provides a different charging approach.
