“After buying the esim. No one will send you esim during 30 mins. Its a scam”
“I noticed that the pay-as-you-go option does not appear in the plan listings on esimdb, which caught my attention a little. After actually using it, I personally feel this is the most convenient option.
Because it is fully usage based, you can keep using it seamlessly even when moving between countries, which is incredibly convenient. With cheaper flight tickets, long layovers at airports in China are common, and sometimes you may want to head into the city for a short while. In those situations, it feels a bit wasteful to purchase a one day plan or a large data package, so this option fits perfectly.
Airport WiFi is available, of course, but connections can be unstable, and SMS verification is sometimes required, which often makes it more troublesome than expected. That is why having the reassurance of being able to connect immediately on your own mobile line, even during immigration, feels very valuable.
Overseas roaming is also available with ahamo and Rakuten Mobile, but there are still countries that are not covered. Having this set up as a dual SIM feels like something that could really help in an emergency. I also appreciate that LINE and WhatsApp continue to work even after the main data allowance has been used up. It is a small detail, but genuinely useful.”
“Perfect, works seamlessly. Did it on arrival. Clic clic, and I was online in less than 2 minutes. Would absolutely recommend to anyone !!!”
“Able to activate this eSIM from Indonesia however unable to connect to any provider in Singapore. Refund process was quite easy. I gave two stars because of how easy the refund process was otherwise one star.”
“Good”
“Nice”
“In terms of speed it wasn’t particularly fast or slow, just average. The connection was mostly through SIMBA, but in some locations it switched to StarHub. The biggest drawback was that, since it was roaming via Hong Kong, I couldn’t use ChatGPT.”
“Supera link functioned perfectly for me in Singapore when i visited last march, providing 5G coverage across the whole city on the local du network
But when visiting smaller island nations, you might find that the local networks have limitations. It's worth thinking about how internet access is provided to these little islands”
“I bought their Asia 5 Countries eSIM to use in Singapore but had problems activating it. The eSIM installed and connected to the network but wouldn't activate and provide data. I wasn't able to get any support as there's only a chat bot. Having to pursue a refund through PayPal.”
“The setup was fast and smooth and the eSIM worked from the moment I landed in Fiji.
The issue I have is that it was constantly limited to 3G speeds. Even then, although the cellular signal was at full strength, web pages would take aaaaaaages to load or sometimes not load at all.
I reached out to their support team, but it seems the service is limited because it is an eSIM. My mother purchased a physical SIM card from the same local telco that I was using (Digicel) and she got a much better deal (165GBs) with fast LTE speeds at about the same price that I paid for 5GB at 3G speeds.
I understand that the infrastructure here is limited and eSIMs might be a newer technology that needs time to be developed; but I would have appreciated a heads-up when I was purchasing the eSIM so I would’ve at least known I’d only get 3G speeds.
My two cents - if you can wait to buy an eSIM at the airport when you land, please do. They have much better data bundles for tourists.”
“So far all the esims I've got with mobimatter worked flawless, in Taiwan I had to adjust the connection network manually once, but it was a minor issue.”
“After about 18 hours and 300 Mb traffic the esim produced a 'PDP authentication error' and stopped working. I send them an email and contacted them through the in-app help. Never got any reply.
Later, in Thailand I tried again to activate this esim, but kept getting the same error.
This was supposedly a 3 Gb in 7 days esim, so clearly I got scammed by them :(
”
“Very poor...do not buy..
Customers care do not reply.Very bad Network ”
“easy to install with app and the most important worked at first short and works well”
“Internet was terrible and almost not usable.
Very slow to no connection at all even if I was in 5G with full network reception.
Contrary at what it advertise on the website, was only able to connect to Singtel but not starhub ”
“It worked just fine. Coverage was very good on Sigtel LTE. Speed was decent. It’s a roaming eSIM via Hong Kong but not much downside imo.
Their app is easy to use.
Good value for money.”
“Buying process was all fine, as was install and activation process on my S21. But it doesn't work as the eSIM seems to be provisioned with the wrong APN, so I can't access data. It's locked to a default of KPN Internet, and doesn't allow manually APN adds. So seems useless?”
“Overall bad expiriance. Sent qr code, witch was not readable, tried to add the plan with the code - sent me msg that the plan was already activated. There is a lot of esim providers. I will not use MySIM again. ”

What are the major mobile networks available for a travel eSIM in Singapore?
In Singapore, the primary Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) are:
Singtel: Singapore's largest telecommunications company, offering extensive mobile services and comprehensive network coverage.
StarHub: A major telecom provider delivering a wide range of mobile services, including 4G and 5G data, with a strong market presence.
M1 Limited: A significant player in the telecom industry, providing diverse mobile services and investing in network infrastructure enhancements.
SIMBA (formerly TPG Telecom): A newer entrant in the market, offering competitive mobile services with a focus on affordability.
Additionally, Singapore hosts several Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) that lease access from these major carriers to offer their own mobile services. Notable local MVNOs include Circles.Life, which operates on the M1 network, and GOMO by Singtel. It's important to note that most travel eSIMs rely on the infrastructure of MNOs rather than MVNOs.
Can I get a travel eSIM with a phone number and SMS for Singapore?
Yes, there are travel eSIM plans that give you a phone number and support SMS while in Singapore. For a local Singapore number, RedEx eSIM offers several plans with the +65 dialing code, inbound/outbound voice and SMS, and data limits from 20 GB to 50 GB for 30‑day validity at around $35‑$36 USD. Other providers such as EtravelSIM, Orange Travel, Simbye, Airhub, JamboSim, Roamify, LineCast Networks, ESIM.DOG and eSIMX also provide outbound SMS, but they use foreign dialing codes like +44, +33, +1 and +376; consequently the numbers are not locally Singapore‑based.
If you require a local Singapore number for SMS or some services may not permit usage of overseas numbers, RedEx eSIM with the +65 code is the most straightforward option. Otherwise, any of the other providers’ plans can be used for SMS and voice, although the number will carry a different country code. Be sure to verify that any applications or VoIP services you rely on are accessible in Singapore before making a purchase.
