MTX Connect eSIM Data Plans for Jamaica

MTX Connect does not offer an unlimited data eSIM plan for Jamaica. All of their available Jamaica plans have a fixed data allowance.

Travelers can select from fixed‑data plans, such as the 10 GB plan valid for 30 days at $35.48 USD or the 4 GB plan valid for 14 days at $17.74 USD. These options illustrate the higher‑data plans that are available; choosing a fixed‑data plan can be more cost‑effective unless the user is an extremely heavy data consumer.

MTX Connect does not provide a Jamaica eSIM with a local phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIMs are sold for Jamaica, so travelers cannot place regular phone calls or receive traditional SMS messages. They can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection for voice and text communication.

MTX Connect offers four multi‑country data plans that are usable in Jamaica, ranging in price from about $4.13 to $35.48 and in data cap from roughly 350 MB up to 10 GB. No single‑country plans are available for Jamaica.
