Halo eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Kazakhstan

Halo eSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Kazakhstan. The plans that carry “Unlimited” in the name actually offer 3 GB per day with a reduced speed of 1 Mbps after the daily limit is reached. Because the data cap is capped, the speed is throttled, and the plan is not unlimited.
Instead, Halo eSIM offers fixed‑data plans that provide larger, non‑throttled data allowances for a set validity period. For example, a 20 GB plan is valid for 30 days, and a 10 GB plan is also valid for 30 days. These fixed‑data options give travelers a predictable data amount without the daily speed reduction that applies to the “Unlimited” label.

Halo eSIM does not provide a Kazakhstan eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The provider only offers data‑only plans for this country. Travelers who need voice or text services can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but this does not guarantee that the apps will work in every area of Kazakhstan. It is recommended to check the accessibility of these services in the specific destinations before purchasing a plan.

Halo eSIM lists 11 single‑country plans and 9 multi‑country plans that include Kazakhstan. The available plans range from $3.30 to $60.24 USD, offering data packages between 1 GB and 20 GB, with validity periods from 3 to 30 days. Additionally, the catalogue includes 6 daily‑data‑cap plans, which limit usage each day, and 14 fixed‑data‑cap plans, which provide a total data allotment for the entire validity period.
