Nomad does not offer an unlimited data eSIM for Mauritius. All of the available plans have fixed data caps. The largest fixed option is the Local Mauritius 30‑day 20GB plan priced at $39.00 USD, and a Regional Global 30‑day 20GB plan priced at $99.00 USD, both of which include tethering and the latter also offers 5G connectivity and coverage across 122 countries. A smaller but cheaper choice is the Local Mauritius 30‑day 10GB plan for $29.00 USD, with a regional 10GB version costing $59.00 USD.

For most travelers a fixed data plan can be more cost‑effective unless the user is an extremely heavy data consumer. If a traveler anticipates using more data than the plan allows, they would need to purchase an additional plan or look for pay‑as‑you‑go options.

Nomad does not provide eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability for Mauritius. The provider offers only data‑only plans in that destination. Travelers can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection for voice calls and messaging.
