Saily eSIM Data Plans for Mozambique

Saily does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for Mozambique. The plans marketed with “UNLIMITED” in the name actually include a fixed 30 GB data cap; after that amount the connection is throttled to a reduced speed (for example 1 kbps or 1000 kbps). Travelers who need more data or a longer period can choose a fixed data plan instead, such as the 30 GB bundle valid for 90 days or the 20 GB bundle valid for 365 days, which offer larger data allowances at set validity periods. These fixed plans may be more cost‑effective for most users, unless one expects to use extremely large amounts of data.

Saily does not provide an eSIM for Mozambique that includes a local phone number or SMS capability; only data‑only eSIM plans are available from the provider. Travelers who need voice or text can use popular VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but it is advisable to verify that these applications and other VoIP services are accessible in Mozambique before purchasing a plan.

Mozambique has 4 single‑country plans and 11 multi‑country plans available from Saily. The single‑country plans provide a fixed amount of data, while the multi‑country plans combine data for Mozambique with coverage in other African markets. Prices for these plans range from $6.99 to $159.99, and the data allowance varies between 1 GB and 30 GB, with validity periods spanning from 7 to 365 days. This gives users a range of options whether they prefer a dedicated Mozambican plan or a broader country‑bundle.
