All plans listed with the name “Unlimited” actually contain a capped data amount—either 1GB or 2GB per validity period—after which the download speed drops to a reduced rate (512 kbps or 2000 kbps). For travelers who need more data without speed throttling, nextSIM offers fixed‑data eSIMs such as the 5GB 30‑day plan or the 3GB 30‑day plan, which give the entire allowance at full 3G speed. Choosing a fixed plan can be more cost‑effective unless very heavy data use is required.

nextSIM does not provide Namibia eSIM plans that come with a local phone number or SMS capability; all Namibia eSIM offers from this provider are data‑only. Travelers who need to send or receive text messages or make calls can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection, which work without a traditional phone number.
