Airalo eSIM Data Plans for Africa

Airalo does not provide an unlimited data eSIM plan for Africa. Travelers can instead choose from several fixed data options. For example, the Discover – 20 GB plan offers 20 GB of 5G data for 365 days at $59.40 USD, while the Discover – 10 GB plan supplies 10 GB of 5G data for 180 days at $51.30 USD. These fixed‑data plans can be more economical unless a traveler is an extremely heavy data user.

Airalo does not provide eSIM plans with a phone number or SMS capability for Africa. The provider only offers data‑only eSIMs for that region. Travelers can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection for voice and messaging needs.
