Airalo eSIM Data Plans for Africa

Airalo does not provide an unlimited data eSIM plan for Africa. The available options are fixed‑data plans that specify a set data allowance. For example, the Discover – 20 GB plan costs $66.00 USD and remains valid for 365 days, while the Discover – 10 GB plan is priced at $57.00 USD with a validity of 180 days. Choosing a fixed data plan can be more cost effective unless a traveler requires a very high volume of data that would exceed the capped allowance.

Airalo does not offer any eSIM plans for Africa that include a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIMs are available for African destinations. Travelers who need voice or text can use popular VoIP and messaging applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage, which work over the data connection for calls and messages.
