Nomad does not provide any unlimited data eSIM plans for Africa. Throughout its catalogue the maximum data allowance for plans covering African countries is 20 GB, with smaller packages of 10 GB and 5 GB also issued for 30‑day validity. Travelers who need more data than these fixed allowances can purchase one of the higher‑volume packages, such as the 20 GB plan priced at $99.00 USD or the 10 GB plan at $45.00 USD. For users who consume only a moderate amount of data, these fixed‑data plans often prove more economical than frequent top‑ups, though extremely heavy data users may still find the fixed limits restrictive.

Nomad does not provide a phone number or SMS capability on its Africa eSIM. Only data‑only plans are sold for African destinations.

Travelers who need voice or text communication can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, allowing calls and messaging without a local phone number.
