Saily eSIM Data Plans for Africa

Saily does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Africa. Plans that carry the name “UNLIMITED” actually cap high‑speed data at 30 GB; after the cap is reached the speed is reduced to 1024 kbps or 1 kbps.

If a large data allowance is needed, Saily offers fixed‑data options such as a 30 GB plan valid for 90 days or a 20 GB plan valid for 365 days. These fixed plans may be more cost‑effective for travelers who are not extremely heavy data users.

Saily does not provide eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability for travelers in Africa. Their offerings for the continent are data‑only, meaning you will not receive an inbound or outbound voice or text number.

If you need messaging or voice during your trip, popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage can be used over the data connection to make calls and send messages without the need for a local phone number.
