AlpineSIM eSIM Data Plans for Asia

AlpineSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Asia. The plans named “AlpineSIM Unlimited Asia” have hard caps of 500 MB, 1 GB, 2 GB, etc., per day or per validity period, and after the data allowance is exhausted the speed is throttled.

Travelers who need a larger unthrottled data supply can choose from AlpineSIM’s fixed data plans. For example, a 20 GB plan valid for 30 days or a 50 GB plan valid for 180 days are available. These fixed plans offer a set amount of high‑speed data without a reduction in speed during the validity period, making them more cost‑effective for moderate or heavy data users than the capped “Unlimited” options.

AlpineSIM does not provide Asia eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. The only eSIM options for Asia are data‑only plans. Travelers who need calling or texting can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage via the data connection, but they should verify beforehand that these services are accessible in the specific Asian destinations they plan to visit.
