Astaroam eSIM Data Plans for Asia

Astaroam does not provide a plan that offers truly unlimited high‑speed data for Asia. The plans that carry the name “Unlimited” give 3GB per day and, once that amount is reached, the speed is reduced to 1000kbps, so they are not unlimited in the sense of having no data cap.

Travelers who need a larger, fixed amount of data can choose from Astaroam’s fixed data plans. For example, the 50GB plan valid for 90 days or the 20GB plan valid for 30 days give a set amount of high‑speed data without a speed reduction, and may be more cost‑effective for most users.

Astaroam does not offer any Asia eSIM plans that include a telephone number or SMS capabilities. Travelers can only purchase data‑only plans from Astaroam for Asia. However, they can still use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection to make calls and send messages. The availability of these apps can vary by specific destination, so it is advisable to verify that the preferred communication apps work in the intended country before buying a plan.
