Giga.Tel eSIM Data Plans for Asia

Giga.Tel does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Asia. All plans that carry an “Unlimited” name actually allocate 1GB of high‑speed data per day; once the daily cap is reached, the speed is throttled to 512 kbps.

Travelers who need larger data allowances can choose from Giga.Tel’s fixed‑data plans instead. For example, the 5GB plan that is valid for 3 days costs $9.49 and covers China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Macau, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam; another option is a 5GB plan valid for 30 days priced at $15.99, which covers a broader set of Asia‑Pacific countries. These fixed‑data plans offer more data and may be more cost‑effective for heavy data users.

Giga.Tel does not offer Asia eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIMs are available for travelers in Asia, and the provider’s catalog shows no telephony options for that region. Travelers who need voice or messaging services can rely on VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage, which work over the data connection without requiring a traditional phone number or SMS access.

Giga.Tel’s offerings include several plans that together cover a wide range of Asian destinations. The Global (Not Include Mainland China) plan extends coverage to India, Bangladesh, the Kyrgyz Republic (Kyrgyzstan) and Pakistan, while still including many of the same Asian markets.
