MicroEsim eSIM Data Plans for Asia

MicroEsim does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed data plan for Asia. All plans that carry “Unlimited” in the name actually cap the data at 1GB per day; after the daily limit is reached the speed falls to 5000kbps.

Travelers who need more data can opt for one of the fixed‑data plans that are available. For example, a 50GB package is offered for 3–15 days in a range of prices from $69.11 to $82.15 USD, with a reduced speed of 128kbps after the 50GB allowance is used. These fixed‑data plans may provide a better value for users who consume more data than 1GB per day.

MicroEsim does not provide Asia eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. All of the offered plans are data‑only and do not support traditional voice or text messaging.

Travelers who need to make calls or send messages can rely on popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage, which operate over the data connection and do not require a local phone number or SMS service.

MicroEsim offers several plans with coverage in Asia. The “Asia 10 Regions / Total” plan includes China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, South Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, and Vietnam. The “Asia 14 Regions / Daily” plan expands this to also include Cambodia, Japan, Laos, and the Philippines. Additionally, the “Global 24 Destinations / Daily” and “Global 108 Regions / Total” plans provide coverage across many Asian countries including (but not limited to) Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Bahrain, China, Georgia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Oman, Pakistan, Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam; however, these plans also include destinations outside of Asia.
