MoodSIM eSIM Data Plans for Asia

MoodSIM does not offer plans that provide truly unlimited high‑speed data for Asia. Every Asia‑specific plan in the database limits daily high‑speed usage (for example, 500 MB/day or 1 GB/day), after which the speed drops to either 384 kbps or 128 kbps. Travelers who require more data can opt for fixed‑data plans instead, such as the 50 GB plan valid for 180 days or the 20 GB plan valid for 30 days, both of which cover many Asian countries. Fixed data plans are generally more cost effective for moderate to heavy data use, whereas true unlimited plans are not available from MoodSIM.

MoodSIM does not provide an Asia eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIM plans are offered for the area. Travelers can still use data‑based applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage for voice and messaging needs without a local phone number or SMS support.

MoodSIM offers several Asia‑focused plans. The “Asia (Asia Extended) Unlimited” and “Asia (East & SE Asia) Unlimited” plans cover Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Japan, Kyrgyz Republic (Kyrgyzstan), South Korea, Kazakhstan, Laos, Sri Lanka, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Pakistan, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Israel, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. The “Asia (Asia Pacific)” plan also includes those same nations plus Israel, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. A separate “Global (Standard)” plan lists many of the same Asian countries but is marketed as a global offering and includes additional regions outside Asia.
