Sim Local eSIM Data Plans for Asia

Sim Local does not provide an unlimited data eSIM plan for Asia. All of its Asian offerings are capped at a fixed amount of data.

Sim Local offers fixed‑data plans such as the Orange Holiday World 20 GB and Asia 20 GB, each providing 20 GB of high‑speed data for 31 days at a price of $35.00 USD. Smaller, shorter‑term options are also available, for example a 1 GB plan valid for 1 day at $6.75 USD and a 500 MB plan valid for 1 day at $4.00 USD. Choosing a fixed data plan can be more cost‑effective for most travelers, except for those who consume an extremely large amount of data.

Sim Local does not offer an Asia eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. All of its plans for the Asian region are data‑only, meaning they provide internet access but no phone number, inbound or outbound voice, nor inbound or outbound text messaging.

Travelers who need to place calls or send messages can rely on internet‑based apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage, which work over the data connection supplied by the Sim Local eSIM.
