Zwitchy eSIM Data Plans for Asia

Zwitchy does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Asia. All plans labelled “Unlimited” offer a maximum of 1 GB per day, and once that quota is consumed the speed is throttled to 1000 kbps. If a traveler requires more high‑speed data, they can choose from Zwitchy’s fixed data plans such as the 20 GB data pack for 30 days or the 30 GB data pack for 30 days, which supply a larger, non‑throttled data allowance for the entire validity period. These fixed plans can be more cost‑effective for users who need substantial data without interruption.

Zwitchy does not offer any Asia eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability, so travelers cannot make or receive traditional voice or text messages through the eSIM. Only data‑only plans are available for destinations in Asia.

Users who need messaging or calling can rely on VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, some countries in Asia may block or restrict specific apps or services, so it is advisable to confirm that the VoIP app you intend to use is accessible before purchasing a Zwitchy eSIM.

The Asia plan is focused on Southeast and East Asian travel and lists the following approved countries: Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, China, Georgia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Japan, Kyrgyz Republic (Kyrgyzstan), Cambodia, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Laos, Sri Lanka, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Pakistan, Singapore, Thailand, Tajikistan, Taiwan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam. The Global plan includes all of these Asian countries as part of its coverage and adds additional territories outside the region, but the primary Asian coverage remains the same as listed for the Asia plan.
